The Private sessions
This exclusive experience is aiming those wanting a deep and thorough understanding of the Kintsugi traditional techniques, a complete understanding of the process and issues that come up during restoration (and associated solutions). You will benefit from a fully tailored coaching through your learning process.
Whether you already have some experience or not, and as long as you are above 18 years old, you are welcome.

What is included
All traditional crafting materials and tools, including brushes, urushi lacquers, lacquer mix powders, sanding materials, and various powdered metals such as silver, brass and much more, are provided during workshop. Gold can also be used for an additional premium (see Premiums section below).

Gold premium
While various metals are available at no additional cost, you can stil wish to use gold as a metal finish.
Due to the volatility of gold market price, a premium will be applied based on the surface to be covered and gold market price at the time of the gold application. You'll be able to choose whether you want to use gold on-site.
Antique ceramic premium
If you do not have enough pieces to work on for all your sessions, you can chose ceramics among an exclusive collection available at the workshop.
Ceramic premium is calculated based on the ceramic acquisition price plus restoration costs, and will clearly be stated on each ceramic.
What to Bring
Your ceramics of couse. I recommend bringing a few of them with different types of breaks if you have, so you can make the most of your sessions. If you do not have enough, you can buy pieces you like at the workshop.
If you already have corrective / magnifying glasses, bring them along with you.
While aprons are provided, I encourage you to wear long sleeves clothes you do not mind to stain. Lacquer will not go away.
Everything else is available at the workshop so you can attend these workshops comfortably and professionally equipped.
